Management Accountant

Leading electronic brokerage business seeking to hire a qualified accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA).

The company focuses on improvements in electronics and technology working in risk and accounts management. An exciting role that requires someone with good awareness, implantation and maintenance of controls, able to take responsibility and handle relationships effectively as the successful candidate will be working closely with FP&A and Business Partners.

Ongoing and pipeline projects to manage currently in place which will allow ideal candidate to really bring their skills and experience to the table. You will be working in a small social team within wider finance allowing you good opportunities to grow and develop.

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• P&L ownership so will be completing all regular accruals, prepayments, reviews and reporting
• Balance Sheet Control and reconciliation - maintenance of control and justifiable balances
• Ownership of assigned Intercompany reconciliations and relationships
• Multi-currency awareness to facilitate effective and accurate systems currency management
• Reporting revenues and reviewing controls, including oversight of reconciliation of Oracle ERP to the various source trade systems to identify errors
• Analytical reviews, providing timely responses to queries on variances

In terms of background, successful candidates need to be:

• A qualified accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) with PQE in Management Accounting.
• Microsoft applications software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook etc.) knowledge
• Multi-currency ledger experience & understanding
• Audit experience would be advantageous but is not essential
