Master Data Management Analyst - Business Analyst

A leading UK commercial Property Development Management Organisation is seeking a Master Data Management Analyst or specialist to be based out of its prestigious central London offices. The focus of the role as an 'MDM Business Analyst' will be working within the Master Data Management programme which forms part of a larger programme of a new ERP system.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage with key business users and stakeholders in defining MDM requirements.
  • Understand and document data structures and business rules within source systems for master data.
  • Focus on identifying the underlying data issues.
  • Contribute to the analysis, design, development and delivery by performing complex data mapping.
  • Process Mapping of the "as-is" and "to-be" MDM Roadmap.
  • Big Dataset MDM requirements gathering, process mapping / design, gap analysis.
  • Working in a team to deliver the overall 'Master Data Management Solution' for the organisation.
  • Defining requirements for creation of a single system, detailing all master data.
  • Lead workshops to define business rules for migration of data into MDM.
  • Responsible for development of key data governance artefacts - Data management processes and data dictionary, glossaries for the programme.

Essential Skills

  • Demonstrable experience working as a Business Analyst with commercial experience of MDM (Master Data Management).
  • Hands-on experience in the areas of Data Architecture, Data Migration, Data Quality Management and Information Governance.
  • Understanding of the Master Data domain and hands on project delivery experience within Master data projects.
  • Ability to develop data quality solutions by performing Data Profiling and cleansing activities.
  • Extensive exposure to requirements gathering, process mapping / design, gap analysis in an MDM context.
  • Source data analysis (CRM, HR, ERP etc).
  • End to end experience of the systems project life cycle, with proven experience of delivering projects using different methodologies.
