An exciting new opportunity has arisen for a high calibre newly qualified individual to join a Central London based corporate finance boutique.
Our client is seeking to take on an individual who can demonstrate a high technical ability through their experience in an advisory, restructuring or CF background. Exposure to working on deals is an extremely important requirement for this role.
The company is well established in its market and last year completed 22 deals with the average size being £30 million. The culture of the company is central to its success and, in addition to technical ability; my client is seeking someone who is the right personality fit. They need someone who is driven to want to work in an M&A environment and can confidently communicate in a personable manner. The work life balance at this firm is not like that of a bulge bracket investment bank and thus sets it apart - 12 hour days (+/- 20%) are typical - so this particular position could suit an individual who wants to move into CF without becoming submerged in a late nights/early morning routine.
In addition to this, there is a position available for someone to join the team at a higher level. This position requires 2-3 years PQE within a corporate finance environment. This would suit a banker who is looking to move away from the long hours and low work/life balance that comes with working for a bulge bracket bank. Additionally, if someone is striving to be a larger part of the whole process and become involved in more aspects of transactions, this represents a great opportunity to achieve a more rounded role in an M&A career.
