We are currently recruiting for an Operational Audit Support Analyst to join a global FTSE 100 organisation in one of their Warwickshire offices. The role is a 15 month fixed-term contract - 22.5 hours per week. The ideal candidate will have experience in audit analysis however I am open to speaking with excellent analysts. Advanced experience in Excel is a must.

Operational Audit Support Analyst - 15 month FTC

Hours: 22.5 hours per week

Reporting to: UK Audit Manager

Location: Warwickshire

Salary: £20,520 (£36,000 pro rata)


To manage the European operational audit schedule for the Operational Auditors and provide analytical and administrative support to the Audit Manager.

Key responsibilities:

  • Maintain European (UK and Central Europe) branch information on the web based Audit System
  • Schedule and co-ordinate branch audits in Europe. Liaise with Central and Branch Managers and the Operational Auditors to organise the audits
  • Upload completed branch audit results onto the Audit System.
  • Prepare, validate and analyse quarterly branch audit results using Excel and Audit System
  • Draft quarterly branch audit reports
  • Budgeting and forecasting branch audit completion rates
  • Provide comprehensive diary, travel and expenses management support to an Audit Manager and two Operational Auditors
  • Maintain schedule of key European stakeholders in relation to the branch audits
  • Coordinate meetings and travel itineraries
  • Work on special projects as needed
  • Planning and coordinating audit and training conferences/meetings
  • Prepare presentation materials


  • Basic knowledge of logistics and routing efficiencies
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Comfortable interacting with people at any level
  • Ability to work independently and as a team member
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to learn basic audit tests, understand operational risks and mitigating controls
  • Ability to explore and learn other software applications
  • Ability to prioritise and manage deadlines
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Strong organisational skills
