Marks Sattin are currently working with a large Retail and Manufacturing business to recruit an Operations Finance Analyst. This is a 12 - 14 month Fixed Term Contract due to an internal member of staff going on secondment to another area of the business.

You will provide insightful reporting and analysis to aid understanding of business performance and capital investment plans, alongside end to end process review and process development both within Finance and Operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Monthly fixed asset balance sheet checks.
  • Monthly capital cash flow review.
  • Operations KPIs for Senior Ops Management.
  • Review and appraisal of all capex projects under £250k.
  • Hands on approach to developing business partner relationships.
  • Improving month end cut off and stock count / stock management procedures.
  • Overheads, capital planning, budgets and re-forecasting.
  • Assist with year end and audit.
  • Supporting a Finance Graduate.

The right person for the role:

  • Must have food manufacturing experience.
  • Have advanced Excel skills - Formulas.
  • Knowledge of cost to serve.
  • Experience of costing.
  • Carried out data queries.
  • Experience doing analysis of efficiencies and performance improvements.
