Marks Sattin are currently working with an expanding Independent Accountancy Practice on the outskirts of Harrogate in their search for a Personal Tax Manager.

As Personal Tax Manager you would be responsible for a team including 4 members of staff. 2 members working full time on Personal Tax and 2 more with a 50:50 split between Corporate and Personal Tax.

The client base varies considerably and will challenge the best candidates as they continue to develop their career. You will also be expected to work closely with the Accounts Department and the Corporation Tax department to ensure the Clients needs are constantly met.

My Client is looking for a candidate with extensive personal tax knowledge who would be very involved still with the preparation and submission of personal tax returns, but would also have managerial experience. A driven individual as the role would also be part of the Senior Management team and part of the future of the firm.

As Manager you would also be responsible for a smaller allocation of personal tax returns; these would ideally be the more complex returns along with supervising the returns of your team members. The role would also include advisory work and dealing with investigations.
