Marks Sattin are currently working with a national retail client that is looking to recruit a Commercial Pricing Strategy Manager to join their team based in Leeds, West Yorkshire.

They are looking for an experienced professional with a background in retail, data analytics and stakeholder engagement skills. You will join a team that operates in the customer function and will be involved in a ROI projects, reporting and devising strategy through which to drive the business forward. You will also be involved in creating a framework for pricing strategy that will be emulated across other areas on the business.

They are also interested in seeing people from a Finance background that are interested in moving their career in a different direction, however you must have covered all of the below (apart from Pricing skills).

Core Responsibilities

• Stakeholder meetings: understanding progress and direction;
• Working with large datasets and reporting;
• Working cross-functionally with marketing, trading, retail and finance teams.

Essential Skills

• Data analytics - working with large data sets in Excel
• Data interpretation and reporting in a retail context
• Strong commercial and corporate financial awareness
• Very strong influencing and stakeholder management skills.
• Being able to make right decisions based on data interpretation and creating informed strategies
• Pricing skills would be hugely desirable BUT NOT ESSENTIAL
