We have a high profile client, a multi-million £AUM private equity fund, searching for a manager of fund operations to join their fund finance team. The firm in question is a market leader in this space and this would be a superb opportunity to leverage off your experience in this buoyant market.

The company in question has over 20 years' experience in the private equity market with a broad portfolio and a highly effective team.

Your primary focus would be overseeing all aspects of fund operations; looking after financial statements, managing the audit process and supervising the fund accounting.

You would also be involved with investor relations and reporting, valuations, interactions with the fund board as well as ad hoc analysis of fund IRR's. Thus excellent inter-personal skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships, both internal and external is essential.

There would also be an opportunity to get involved in fund raising efforts for new strategies.

The business is looking for an individual with at least seven years PQE, gained in a top 4 auditor or through industry experience of fund accounting. The ideal candidate would be at the senior manager level in one of the big 4; with investment management, private equity or banking experience. Equally an experienced fund controller who has worked in a similar space.

Remuneration would be in the region of £80,000 to £85,000 with chunky bonus and benefits.
