Role Overview
As a Private Equity Strategy Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the strategic direction of our investment portfolio. You will work closely with senior leadership, investment teams, and portfolio company executives to identify value creation opportunities, drive operational improvements, and support key decision-making processes. This is a unique opportunity to leverage your strategic acumen and analytical expertise to influence high-stakes investments and contribute to the long-term success of our firm.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth company operational analysis focusing on commercial due diligence, operational effectiveness, operations gap analysis and operational synergies across their portfolios.
- Collaborate with internal teams during due diligence, providing strategic insights and recommendations based on your investment analysis of the target acquisition.
- Understand and review the financial performance of the target firm in conjunction with the commercial and operational analysis and due diligence process.
- Partner with the Private Equity clients to identify growth opportunities, operational efficiencies, and potential risks and gaps within the target business.
- Support the development of firm-wide strategic priorities and best practices
- Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and excellence
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field coupled with an MBA/MBS/ACA or relevant advanced degree strongly preferred
- 7+ years of experience in private equity, management consulting, investment banking, or a related strategic role
- Proven track record of driving value creation and operational improvements within portfolio companies or client organizations
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and quantitative skills
- Strong communication and presentation abilities, with experience engaging senior executives and stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and a collaborative mindset
