Excellent opportunity - Project Cost Analyst - Leading global FTSE 100, require a Project Cost Analyst / Project Estimator to join their PMO and be responsible for establishing an estimating function within their portfolio. This is a fantastic opportunity to take a lead role in establishing and developing a new global function in a time of high investment within the PMO.

Responsibilities/Expertise:

• Solid experience as Project Cost Analyst, PMO Cost Analyst, Project Estimator, Project Analyst, PMO Analyst or similar
• Provide a basis for developing estimates and support to projects in achievements of their goals.
• Identify key variables for costs and gather information to provide benchmarking for future use.
• You will be analytical in nature with in depth knowledge of research and data analysis methods and estimation formulas.
• Responsible for planning, set up and development of cost / schedule estimates across multiple, concurrent Engineering Procurement & Construction (EPC) projects,
• Experience of working within a global PMO function beneficial.
• Strong knowledge of probabilistic modelling of projects costs.
• Conduct research on costs such as: labour, materials etc.
• Create a database capturing historical estimates for future use.
• Ideally you will have come from a heavy industry background eg manufacturing, engineering, pharma, oil and gas, chemicals etc
• Previous experience of leading engineering, procurement or construction projects highly desirable
