My client, a large London based Securities Trading firm, are recruiting for a project manager to drive and coordinate a MiFID ii implementation project across their Post Trade Risk and Information division.

This role has come about so that my client can fulfil the transparency requirements that this new regulation requires Investment Firms to adhere to.

This role would be responsible for the following:

• Manage all aspects of the planning and implementation, including governance, technical development, documentation and compliance
• Targeting the successful and compliant establishment of the specific service
• Facilitate the broader MiFID ii strategy of the Post Trade businesses
• Working with both clients and regulatory solutions providers to ensure the end-to-end functioning of the service
• To fulfil any additional / ad hoc duties as required to meet the needs of the business.

Desired experience:

• Project Management experience with relevant governance and documentation skills
• Experience in regulatory implementations such as MiFID, Dodd Frank and EMIR
• Understanding of MiFID highly desirable
• Background in financial services
• Experience in preparing MI
• Understanding of current and proposed data and post-trade regulation
