Reconciliations Systems Analyst

An international Fintech company is seeking a Reconciliations Systems Analyst in London. This is a great opportunity for someone who has a background with data and business administration within a reconciliation environment.

Sitting within the Finance team, the main remit of the role will be making sure all systems are up and running. This is a hand-on systems administration and process improvement role. The successful candidate will ideally come from a financial services, gaming or FMCG background and have experience of analysing and maintaining large volumes of data.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and assure start of day system readiness
• Perform manual BAU systems updates and uploads. Seek to automate processes to minimize manual process risk and drive efficiencies.
• Deliver day on day systems changes to support on boarding of new counterparties and changes in existing processes
• Support the investigation and resolution of data integrity and reporting issues within the reconciliation system
• Ensure process documentation is up to date and reflects current best practice
• Support the strategic automation of the reconciliation process
• Supporting the wider Finance team as needed

Skills Required

• Experience of analysing large volumes of data, typically low transaction values
• Familiar with Microsoft office, spreadsheets and an understanding of database structure
• The ability to prioritise and meet deadlines efficiently within fast-paced environment
• Has worked within the money transfer, payments, gambling or travel industry
• Experience using SQL queries and macros
• Experience of using accounting software systems e.g. Netsuite
• Experience using transaction matching systems such as ReconArt, Smartstream, TLM would be highly desirable
