Semi-Senior/Senior Accountant

Our client is looking for a Semi-Senior/Senior Accountant with Audit experience to join their Accountancy Practice based in the Black Country.

This is a great opportunity for a candidate that is part qualified or newly qualified that is looking for progression into a management role in the near future. The candidate would be expected to complete the accounts preparation for sole traders and small limited companies as well as helping out on audit clients.

The ideal candidate would have the following:

• Experience in an Accountancy Practice environment
• Part Qualified or recently started their studies towards ACCA/ACA
• Able to manage their own work load and be organised
• Good Excel skills

They are looking for a candidate that will, in time, take over from their Audit and Accounts Manager. A semi-senior would be ideal and one that can work with the current Audit Manager to increase their skill set.

The candidate will be focussing around 70% of their time on Accounts Preparation and about 30% of their time on Audit clients. Experience in Solicitor Audits would also be useful.
