A one off opportunity has arisen for a Senior Accounts Payable Supervisor to join an award winning team of a Real estate and Property consortium in Reading.

The role will be repsonsible for a Payables team of 6 staff and will include but not be limited to:

Paying head rent, rates, electricity etc on a huge telecoms portfolio (approx. 30,000 sites) not a traditional AP requirement as such given that the majority of payments are generated automatically from the system. This comprises of around 80% of what the team do and is requires people to check we are paying the right landlord, paying in accordance with terms of lease, requires a review of completion statements, plus some invoice processing. Annual payments of approx. £230m - approx. 150,000 payments per annumIn addition the team are responsible for.

• Traditional AP for our property management team - processing invoices and producing payment run
• Traditional AP for our own business - processing invoices and producing payment runFor the 2 traditional AP tasks we are in the process of moving from manual keying to invoice scanning and on-line approval (so the successful candidate would have input into this project)

The successful candidate will operate as a no 2 to the manager and will see opportunites to progress within the department.
