A leading business with a reputable and recognised brand portfolio is currently seeking an astute and commercial Finance Business Partner to work with the Divisional FD and support the successful operation teams and UK manufacturing site. The role will help the business in achieving planned strategies and goals, whilst providing support where required to the operation teams to deliver and create value. You will ensure that the correct financial controls are implemented in all areas and drive efficiencies and improvements.

Working closely with senior management, the responsibilities and duties will be commercially focused whilst broad and varied at the same time. You will manage the financial reporting process in relation to manufacturing and provide management reporting on results and overheads for presentation to senior management. You will report and advise on standard costing, material and inventory management to aid in operational decisions and targets, giving guidance on adherence to accounting requirements where necessary and improvements to finance processes and systems (SAP). The position has great visibility across both the business and division and is role where real value can be added.

The successful applicant will be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) and hold a numerate degree. You will also be able to demonstrate business partnering and influencing skills, ideally from the manufacturing, pharma or FMCG industry. Excellent SAP and Excel skills are needed.
