A large London based Brokerage firm are looking for a Senior Finance Business Partner to join their Group Finance Control department. Initially this role will start a contract basis however the end goal is to transition this to a permanent position.

The successful individual will act as the senior finance business partner to the EMEA and APAC Advisory Support and IT functions to ensure that all reporting and support is provided as well as providing analytical support to the Global team. This role has one direct report, a Group finance Analyst.

Responsibilities:

• Analysis of Global Advisory support and IT costs.
• Budgeting and Forecasting for Advisory support and IT within EMEA and APAC. Co-ordinate global consolidation and reporting of global advisory support costs.
• Become a key member of the financial decision making process by building rapport with the Global and regional heads.
• Provide global support and analysis across the group.
• Develop and review current processes and procedures and improve efficiency.
• Support senior management on Ad-hoc projects.

Required skills

• Qualified Accountant ACA, ACCA, CIMA (or equivalent) ideally with more than 2 years post qualified experience
• Experience of Oracle Financials, Essbase and Hyperion Planning would be a bonus
• Technology industry experience
• Proven experience as a Finance Business Partner
• Available within 2 weeks notice
