Marks Sattin is working with a well-regarded practice based in Leeds who are recruiting in the Internal Audit function. With a consistent increase in workloads, the firm has been able to successful add to the team this year and is still focused on further growth.

Working across a range of clients, you will be well placed to develop a strong understanding of risk based controls. You will help ensure that clients receive a quality service in all aspects as effective risk management and associated controls are critical to business performance and the achievement of a businesses objectives.

In the role you will be responsible for:

• Review of Strategic, operational and financial risks where organisations require assurance and advice.
• Ensure systems, processes, people and working practices are all aligned for the purpose of managing risks.
• Identify areas of control weakness and then agree with management prioritised corrective actions, setting out a clear path for continual improvement and risk mitigation.

Ideally you will have previous experience of working in a risked based role, ideally within Internal audit already. You will be part qualified ACA, IIA, ACCA or CISA and enjoy working as part of a team.
