Senior Management Accountant - Law Firm

Company:

Leading UK full-service law firm with broad client base are looking for an experienced finance professional in the legal field to join their growing team

Role:

You will act as an integral part of the finance team, overseeing transactional staff and work as well as assisting senior management. This is a varied and interesting role which will allow you to quickly understand how the business works through your hands-on duties as well as effect change through your business partnering and budgeting.

Duties will include:

• Preparation and consolidation of monthly management accounts including board packs
• Preparation of partnership accounts
• Management of 2 members of staff
• Annual budgeting and preparing statutory accounts
• Developing meaningful working relationships across the business to
• Reviewing transactional work and preparing the p&l
• Preparation of VAT returns
• Ad hoc duties including project and report work

What next:

You will be a qualified accountant with post-qualification experience, ideally within the legal sector.
