Global Banking and Financial Services Group urgently seeks the talents of a Strategy Consulting or Big 4 Advisory senior manager for a highly commercial role. This position is based within one of their business unit finance teams and would suit someone at Senior Manager, AD or VP level looking to make their first move onto the client side.

This position is primarily responsible for the analysis and reporting of high quality and comprehensive external publications, investor presentations, competitor benchmarks and market insights. There is a huge amount of internal and external stakeholder management involved; suited to a commercially savvy and confident individual. This will include:

• Act as the External Reporting Content Manager; leading the quarterly external reporting of business performance and strategic priorities in addition to competitor benchmarks.
• Ensure the external reports continue to portrait a fair and balanced view of the business, meet the needs of senior leadership and the wider external community (investors, analysts, shareholders).
• Deliver competitor benchmarks and analysis for ExCo.
• Responsible for ensuring ongoing relevance of external metrics available in current disclosures. The position will also be responsible for ensuring the external metrics tracked in the MI system remain robust, linked with the business strategy, used for decision making and relevant for the external community.
• Provide ad hoc commercial and strategic support to senior business and finance management.
• Actively contribute to the connection of the team with customers and stakeholders to improve quality of the Investor story and various other deliverables

Your background is likely to be:

• From a Big 4 Advisory profile or alternatively from a strategy Consulting background at a top tier global firm. Exposure to the Banking sector would be ideal but is not a pre requisite.
• Excellent academics and relevant formal qualifications, ie: ACA, MBA or equivalent.
• Strong analytical skills with a commercial bias, and an excellent grasp of business drivers.
• Proven influencing skills, ability to challenge multiple stakeholders.
• Proactive, dynamic and a self-starter with exceptional drive and commitment.
• Ability to deal with people at all levels, including senior executives at C-level.
• Ability to work and thrive in a fast changing, results driven environment.
• Calm and able to work under pressure, meeting deadlines and prioritising workload.
• Accurate and detail conscious.
• Strong team player, extends help to other colleagues onshore, offshore and educate staff on external disclosure matters.
