Marks Sattin are currently working with a well-established Halifax based organisation, which are currently undergoing a huge digital transformation programme, to recruit a Solution Architect. You will join a team that defines and develops the IT strategy, develops and implements architectural principles, standards, solutions and offers solution governance.

Responsibilities;

• The conceptual, logical and physical design of solutions based on functional and non-functional requirements.
• Drive the governance and the delivery of the solution.
• Able to understand and express complexity across business and IT stakeholders.
• Operate and traverse both high level and lower level architect.
• Drive solution adoption, build consensus and acceptance of solution.

Skills;

• Experience of a number of technology platforms, including legacy technologies and modernisation.
• Front end, middleware and back end technologies.
• Physical / virtualised on premise, MSP and cloud solution architectures.
• Strong modelling skills.
• Third party supplier experience.
• Proven track record of Service Orientated Architecture.
• Understanding of the difference between COTS and bespoke solutions.
• Agile & waterfall management practices within the full software development lifecycle.
• Experience of working in both products and projects.
