An experienced, qualified, Systems Accountant required by a leading market research company based in Central London. The Systems Accountant will detail all processes and requirements to assist in the selection of a new software. The individual will then manage a successful implementation and be responsible for the day to day control and running of all finance systems.
This role includes:
- Mapping of all current processes from the finance function
- Defining requirements for the accounting software and assisting in the selection process
- Working with Project management and Finance as well as 3rd party suppliers to ensure a successful implementation on time and in budget.
- Managing the month end and year end process
- Work closely with the Management Accounts team to develop BI reporting
Essential skills and experience:
- ACCA or CIMA qualified
- Previous experience with implementing accounting/ IT Systems
- Highly organised with the ability to work on several projects at once
- Experience of working with a global business
- Self-starter, able to work independently
- Attention to detail
- Track record of delivering projects on time
- Experience working with multicurrency
