Key responsibilities

• Ensuring that all bookkeeping tasks and reconciliations are completed in a timely manner;
• To assist with the preparation of Management Accounts and Financial Statements with the end goal of preparing independently;
• Preparation of audit files to provide an accurate audit trail of information and workings;
• Supporting the audit process to ensure the completion of milestones and deadlines;
• Ensuring that all day-to-day matters required to be completed are performed in a timely and satisfactory manner including monitoring tasks.
• Collating and assisting with the preparation of VAT & corporation tax returns;
• Assisting with quarterly reporting to the Central Bank;
• Assist with clerical and administrative duties such as printing, scanning and photocopying;
• Ad hoc tasks, board meeting preparation and drafting board minutes as required

Skills / experience required

• Applicants should possess the following attributes;
• Part/newly qualified accountant
• 1-2 years' experience in the financial services industry
• Accounts preparation & bookkeeping experience
• A confident and personable personality
• A positive attitude, willingness to learn and reliability
• Strong self-motivation and drive
• Good communication skills
• Excellent numeracy and attention to detail
