My client is a catering company looking to take on an accounts admin due to growth within the business, meaning that additional support is needed within the finance team.
Duties will include answering telephone, admin tasks, daily invoicing, inputting invoices, and credit control.
- Processing sales ledger invoices
- Liaising with customers and suppliers
- Liaising with the Operations teams to resolve queries in relation to sales and purchases.
- Reconciliation of supplier statements
- Processing overhead purchase ledger invoices
- Review and processing of staff expenses
- Ad hoc support to the finance and operations team as and where required
Skills required:
- Previous sales/purchase ledger experience would be an advantage
- Experience of SAGE 50 or other online accounting software useful
- Can adapt to different tasks quickly, efficiently and confidently
- Capable of working in an autonomous or team orientated environment
- Strong IT skills, particularly Outlook Email, Calendar and Microsoft Excel
- Be organised, strong attention to detail, with good time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines Accurate and efficient in processes;
- Studying accountancy or qualified by experience;
- Self-starter and able to work independently;
- Able to work under pressure, deliver results and observe deadlines;
- Hands-on with day-to-day operations;
