A large media business located in Central London is currently in need of an Accounts Assistant to join on a 3 month temporary basis to assist with heavy workload. There is potential for this role to turn permanent.

You will be assisting with:

• monitoring AP inbox, investigating and responding promptly to supplier queries;
• processing accounts payable invoices and matching to PO numbers (c 200 per week);
• weekly bank reconciliations;
• posting journals at month end;
• preparing accruals and prepayments;
• some administrative tasks;
• assisting Management Accounts team where necessary with ad hoc tasks.

This is a great opportunity for someone with some basic accounts experience to work for a large organisation and receive more exposure to month end and management accounts. This would suit someone who is interested in working for a creative industry in a relaxed yet forward-thinking environment.
