A leading investment management firm is recruiting for an Assistant Account to join their Finance team, working to supporting the syndicate and corporate function of the business. The successful candidate will be an analytical thinker, who takes pride in their work driven and is driven to have a long successful career in accounting.

The successful candidate will have excellent problem solving and analytical skills, strong excel skills, be an efficient and effective member of multiple teams, previous knowledge or accountancy principles, US/UK GAAP and knowledge of General ledger systems.

Responsibilities for the role include:

• Support the annual budget process
• Support the preparation of statutory accounts
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations
• Perform monthly reconciliations of all balance sheet accounts
• Liaise with internal and external auditors
• Support miscellaneous project work/ad-hoc reporting and provide general assistance to the Finance Director and Finance Department as necessary
