Accounts Assistant (12 months)

A vibrant and growing SME business based in East Leeds are currently looking to take on a passionate a driven accounts clerk to join the business on a12 month maternity cover contract.

Working within a medium sized finance department and reporting into the finance manager you will be expected to work on both sides of the ledger, dealing with both accounts payable and accounts receivable duties.

These duties will include processing purchase invoices, reconciling supplier statements and dealing with any finance queries in a timely manor. You will also be expected to raise invoices, bring back any debts on accounts through phone, email and letters to debtor accounts and various other ad hoc/finance related duties.

Ideally you will have a strong desire to develop a career into finance and want an all around role that will give you exposure to all around ledger based work. This is a great role if you're currently studying AAT or are a graduate looking to get into a business and build up your experience.
