Start your job searchA reputable media agency who are part of the world's largest media and advertising group based in central London is currently recruiting for an Accounts Payable Manager to join their fast pace finance division.
The successful applicant will be responsible for ensuring smooth day to day running of the accounts payable function. Duties will include: manage and organise a team of 6-10 staff members, interrogate AP processes and ensure process improvement and change, SOX compliance, ensure invoices are processed accurately and on time, review aged creditor reports, authorize payments, build solid relationships with all stakeholders, ensure open entries are closed promptly and work closely with the management accounts team.
Ideally this candidate will have a minimum of 3-4 years' of experience working in accounts payable and will hae strong managerial experience. Ideally you will fit the below criteria:
- AP "expert"
- Previous experience of working in a change environment
- Experience of considerable process review and improvement
- Team management
- Structure review
- KPI implementation/data extract and review
- Backlog experience
- Resilient nature who can work at ease in a high paced environment and manage stress well
- Able to raise the profile and output of an AP team
