A leading, multinational organisation in Manchester is currently in the market for an Accounts Payable Manager. This is an excellent opportunity for a well-organised, competent individual to manage 4 direct reports with an overall team responsibility of up to 13 members of staff. The business is looking for someone to come on board and develop the team on both a professional and personal level.

Reporting into the Head of Accounts Payable your responsibilities will include, but not be restricted to:

- Mentoring and developing the immediate team and establishment
- Maintaining performance levels, improving engagement and managing poor performance
- Implementing training documentation and designing suitable training measures for staff
-Making sure the business has full visibility of areas of concern through weekly KPI reporting
- Monitoring progress of objectives and taking action to ensure delivery to agreed timescales
- Ensuring all different tiers of the team operate at the appropriate level

The successful candidate will have previous experience of managing a team of at least 10 members of staff and a minimum of 5 years experience in staff management. Strong Excel skills and hands on experience of SAP or other ERP applications are also essential. Excellent communication skills, the ability to interact with members of staff at all levels and the ability to work to tight deadlines are key to this position.
