Marks Sattin's Surrey Office are delighted to be supporting a well-established tech organisation near Godalming, Surrey in finding an experienced Accounts Receivable Controller. This position has arisen due to business growth, and team expansion, and will take responsibility for ensuring all collection targets are met for UK, France and Germany. You will report directly to the Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable Manager.
The Duties:
- Manage the Accounts Receivable function for the UK, as well as support the AR Clerks in France and Germany.
- Ensure credit checks are run for all new customers, applying credit limit and payment terms in NetSuite.
- Make sure all outputs to customers are presented in a format that facilitates collection of payments.
- Acknowledge and log all incoming cash for UK on NetSuite.
- Assess processes, and look for opportunity for improvement of performance of the Accounts Receivable function.
- Attend all Sales meetings to raise the profile of Accounts Receivable within the group. Then give an overview of challenges and build inter-departmental relationships with key sales team members.
- Maintain function carrying out housekeeping and improvements to ledgers and master data.
The Candidate:
- You will have exceptional organisational skills, and the ability to prioritise workload through strong time management, and a methodical approach to work.
- Exceptional communicator across all levels both internally and externally
- Great working knowledge of MS Office, especially MS Excel/Outlook - NetSuite would be advantageous
- Judgement - able to apply business and professional knowledge objectively in weighing up facts and context and able to prioritise effectively
- 2-3 years Credit Management experience
- Knowledge of French or/and German would be very advantageous
