Marks Sattin are currently recruiting an Assistant Accountant on behalf of a well-established technology business, based in East Leeds.

Reporting directly into the Financial Controller, the role will involve working as part of a team to deliver monthly management accounts, management information and performance analysis and year end accounts.

Duties will include:

-Support with production of monthly management accounts and the monthly close process

-Preparation of payments and accruals

-Support with year-end audit process

-Production of balance sheet reconciliations

-Variance and trend analysis

Required skills:

-AAT Level 4 qualified or degree educated

-Experience of double entry

-Experience of reconciliations

-Proficiency with Microsoft excel

-Ability to work as a part of a team

-Ability to prioritise work and meet deadlines.

Salary is up to £27,000 depending on your level of experience
