A renowned fund administration firm is seeking a graduate to join their London finance team as an assistant accountant.

The firm provides accounting, fund administration and investor reporting services to clients in various sectors including real estate, debt and private equity funds and as such, encompasses the opportunity to work with a large portfolio of clients.

Responsibilities include:

• Preparing bank reconciliations for all client accounts.
• Preparation and amendment of management accounts produced by the team.
• Updating the financial system (SUN) for all transaction related activity including the recording of purchase invoices and sales invoices.
• Administration work including the preparation of call notices, distribution notices and dealing with new applications for subscription into client funds.

Candidate Requirements:

• A 2:1 degree or above in accountancy or related subject is required.
• Interest in reporting and other accounting challenges faced by Private Equity, Real Estate, Infrastructure and Fund of Funds firms.
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of situations.
• Prior experience of accounting packages would be advantageous.
• Ability to present information and respond to questions from groups of managers and clients.
