A Business Services company based in The City of London is currently recruiting an Assistant Accountant.

Reporting to the Finance Manager your main responsibilities will include:

• Month end journal posting
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Covering AP only when necessary
• Actual v budget
• Providing analysis on the monthly management accounts with commentary
• Resolving queries raised by the Business Partners or Senior Management

The successful candidate will have started their professional qualification (ACCA/CIMA or equivalent) and have at least 18 months experience in a similar role. Knowledge of SAP is advantageous but excellent written and verbal communication is essential
