A Multi award winning Private Equity house based in the heart of the west end are currently looking to recruit an assistant fund accountant to join their London offices whilst furthering their fund accounting experience in both open and closed ended structures.

Reporting to the and working on a newly launched fund you will be responsible for the following;

• Preparation of quarterly Fund accounts and unaudited financial statements (including accruals and prepayments)
• Calculation and preparation Drawdown's and Distribution in accordance with LPA
• Calculation Valuation movements for quarterly accounts purposes (multicurrency investments)
• Preparation of quarterly Partner Statements, calculating NAV for each investor
• Preparation of monthly and quarterly accounts for Manager (LLP)
• Calculation and preparation of quarterly VAT Returns
• Calculation and preparation monthly, quarterly, semi-annual and annual reports for FCA purposes
• Performing weekly and monthly bank reconciliation
• Assisting in year-end audit process for Fund's and LLP company
• Liaising with external fund administrators and maintaining relationships with the prime broker, independent auditors and other external advisors.
• Responding to Investor queries

Candidates must have strong academic qualifications, including a good undergraduate degree (2:1 classification and above) and will be part qualified on either the ACA or ACCA.

What's more candidates will have at least 1-2 years' experience of fund accounting from the Big 4, a fund administrator or other financial institution and will have knowledge of UK GAAP and/or IFRS (essential) with strong communication skills. If interested please apply ASAP stating your interest.
