Business Analyst - Paying £350- £400 per day

A leading global telecommunications company are seeking a business analyst to join their team initially for a 6 month contract based in Basingstoke.

The client has an immediate need to strengthen their global solutions and services team with a business analyst experienced in developing business processes in a telecoms service provider environment (ideally an MVNO). This is a great opportunity to be a part of, and shape the solutions for, some of the largest and most exciting public safety communications projects from their infancy.

The Business Analyst must depict experience in business process re-engineering and workflow management and cite examples when these have improved process performances.

The role is based in our Basingstoke office and will have moderate travel to customer, supplier and satellite locations in the UK.

Responsibilities and skills:

• Analysing, engineering and modelling business processes
• Business and functional requirements capture, analysis and management
• Experience in Business Process re-engineering and management
• Fluent with business process modelling methodologies including BPMN and UML
• Monitoring, measuring and providing feedback on process performance and improvements
• Experience in leading Business Change delivery in a new Service Organisation setup
• Experience of working in a telecoms/service provider environment
• Experience in facilitating workshops to elicit process requirements and models
• Framework/e-TOM competency is mandatory
• Fluent in spoken and written English
• Good communication skills and confidence to present solutions to customers and stakeholders
• Knowledge and understanding of order to activation, usage to bill, bill to payment cycle.
• Knowledge of Operational Support and Business Support Systems (OSS/BSS)
• Good functional knowledge in ERP, BPM, CRM and BI tools is desirable
• Knowledge of IT Service Management and ITIL
• ISEB qualified Business Analyst
• Lean/Six Sigma Certification
