Our client is a successfully growing PE backed manufacturing business and they are currently seeking a highly astute and experienced Private Equity backed Chief Financial Officer to continue to drive improvement within the company while working alongside the CEO to implement these changes.

The CFO responsibilities will include supporting the CEO and the leadership team and taking responsibility for the financial function, improving and setting up systems, processes and controls as well as building out a successful financial team. Also, you'll be reporting to the private equity team and presenting to investors on a regular basis as well as being a key member of the board. As financial number one you'll lead the business to a successful exit for all shareholders. The CFO will be key in planning the future growth of the company and realising the company vision.

Responsibilities of the CFO will include:

• Leading the finance team
• Take control over statutory financial reporting and day to day relationships with auditors and banks.
• Establish appropriate KPIs and monitoring targets.
• Take responsibility for budget preparation, monitoring performance and addressing issues where relevant.
• Tighten up controls, assess data robustness, and be able to retrieve accurate up-to-date data at short notice.
• To act as a leader, with commercial insight, to set up and lead weekly/monthly meetings with management.

Further Essential Requirements;

• Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/ACMA)
• Have extensive, and a proven track record, of working as a CFO within a PE Backed business
• Been in Autonomous CFO/FD role previously
