Our client is a PE backed SME specialist manufacturing business based in Oxfordshire. They are currently recruiting for a Chief Financial Officer who has clear substantial experience in the manufacturing industry. The successful CFO candidate will work closely with the CEO and participate as key member of the executive team.

Responsibilities

• Ensure overall leadership of company accounting and financial management function underpinned by effective financial controls
• Formulate financial plans in accordance with the strategy determined by the Board including the updating of the current strategy
• Develop KPIs that support the company's management and development
• Ensure accounting policies comply with relevant accounting standards and that company policies are up to date and followed
• Oversee preparation of statutory and monthly management accounts, including cash and performance forecasts
• Oversee 12 month rolling P&L and cash flow
• Pinpoint trends in revenues, margins and costs and suggest actions to address
• Manage and develop key relationships with the company's bank, investors and auditors
• Ensure compliance with investor arrangements
• Lead the scoping, selection and implementation of a new, business wide ERP system
• Ensure effective company-wide communication

Further Essential Requirements;

• Previous experience working in a manufacturing businesses ,preferably in a PE/Investor backed business
• Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/ACMA)
