Client Accountant / Warrington / Salary £25K + Study Support / Permanent

Marks Sattin are representing a global, fortune 500 company. They are expanding their finance team for one of their major clients, and looking for a Client Accountant, ideally studying towards their CIMA or ACCA. Duties include:

• Produce monthly accounts
• Preparing journals
• Assist in monthly balance sheet account reconciliations
• Monthly and ad hoc variance analysis
• Assist with budget/forecast preparation and delivery to stake holders
• Monitoring WIP balances ensuring no balances over 90 days
• Management of issues with invoices in escalation
• Ensuring costs and sales are allocated correctly
• Creation of monthly reports, and any ad-hoc reports required
• Assist in the annual budget set up for the sites and the internal forecasts
• Monthly meetings with the site managers to discuss variances and performance
• Updating the monthly reports for any failures in the contracted KPI
• Ensuring the contract is in accordance with SOX

The ideal candidate will be:

• AAT Qual, studying towards CIMA or ACCA
• 1 years minimum experience in a similar role
• Advanced Excel
• Highly analytical
• Keen attention to detail
• Adaptable to change
