Commercial Accountant - £34k (6 month FTC)

My client is a retailer based in South Manchester who are currently recruiting a Part Qualified or QBE Commercial accountant for their expanding team.

The ideal candidate will have strong financial planning and analysis experience with the ability to offer timely financial information to key business stakeholders. You will also be required to assist with management accounts preparation on a periodic basis. As such, you will need to have a substantial amount of budgeting/forecasting experience.

Candidates who have previous retail experience will be particularly sought after as you will be expected to analyse sales and margin performance with a view to presenting your findings to senior operational managers. In addition to the above you will need to have previous experience of challenging stakeholders on key business metrics.
