A growing business based in North Yorkshire is looking to appoint a Commercial Finance Business Partner. The role will support the generation of high end analysis that will drive decision making, help to identify new opportunities and deliver results on key projects and initiatives. As Commercial Finance Business Partner, this role will be responsible for: - Develop and oversea the management of complex financial and operational budgets - Building complex models and dashboards - Being a key support to the FP&A team - Providing insightful management and group performance reporting for board Whilst this role will co-ordinate the forecast and budget process across the region it will also undertake adhoc projects for the wider business. The Commercial Finance Business Partner will report directly into the head of FP&A and prepare analysis of key market trends, undertake statistical modelling and cost benefit analyses to drive appropriate business strategies and support future acquisitions through due diligence investigation. This role is seeking to attract an individual from a commercial background with experience either from a planning background or with financial modelling. Naturally a good eye for the detail and strong reporting foundation would be ideal for this role. Essentially because of the level of role and dotted line into the board and Finance Director this role is targeting a qualified ACA/ACMA/ACCA accountant. It is desired that the incumbent have a strong financial acumen including a high degree of analytical skill and sound knowledge of business procedures. Advanced excel would be a distinct advantage as would the ability to build relationships across the business including operational managers and investors.
