Role duties:
- To develop and take ownership of businesses vision, Business Plan and values, and to be totally committed to these.
- Conduct analysis to assess the employer covenant to support the triennial valuation process within the relevant calendar year. This will include quantitative and qualitative analysis, the review and interpretation of management information and engagement with clients to understand their organisation. The output is a report which is reviewed by the Covenant Manager and the Head of Corporate Services before being passed to Trustee Services to use as part of the valuation.
- Deliver the annual Financial Assessment exercise for the businesses multi-employer schemes to the relevant pre-determined deadline.
- Working collaboratively with staff across the business and employers to ensure the most up to date financial and non-financial information is received to allow the employer covenant to be assessed in a timely and accurate manner. This will involve liaising with Trustee Services to coordinate meeting times and information requests.
- Assist the Covenant Manager in the communication and discussion of findings with sponsoring employers through face-to-face meetings and written correspondence. A key aspect is the agreement of the factual accuracy of any reports to facilitate the smooth running of the valuation process in a collaborative manner.
- Use experience of covenant assessments to develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of the accounting practices adopted by the non-profit sector, especially those of the Social Housing Sector. This is to be supplemented through individual research, review of sector publications and attendance at sector events.
- To perform all duties in line with the businesses Information Security policy.
- To comply with the Data Protection Policy when dealing with personal data in the course of employment including personal data relating to any employee, customer, client, supplier or agent of the Company.
