Responsibilities:

• Managing outstanding and upcoming customer debt to ensure timely collection of cash
• Ensure weekly/monthly targets achieved including liaison with key customers
• Review and develop internal processes
• Managing customer queries with key stakeholders
• Constant reviews of aged debt; challenging internal and external groups to ensure bad debt is controlled
• Assessing credit risk of companies and making recommendations on credit limits
• Reporting on and liaison with solicitors on legal cases when it has been necessary to send accounts for formal collection

What you need?

You will need be the kind of person who has the willingness to work under your own initiative where necessary and to make improvements to existing systems and procedures. Excellent communication skills is a must with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and excel skills plus experience with computerised ledger systems and ad-hoc reporting.
