Start your job searchA large market research business located in Central London is currently in urgent need of a Data Analyst to join immediatelty for a minimum term of four months (with potential to extend).
You will be responsible for:
- managing the annual data collection and benchmarking process;
- updating existing datasets and associated macros for reporting;
- managing data requests from members and other organisations;
- collating, updating and maintaining a database of key facts and figures;
- assisting with new and ongoing research projects;
- drafting of briefing notes, and assisting with news releases and articles;
- other ad hoc and administrative tasks as required.
Ideally, you will have the below skills:
- excellent quantitative and qualitative analytical skills with the ability to collect, organise, analyse and disseminate high volumes of information accurately;
- strong attention to detail with the ability to analyse, reconcile and present complex data;
- advanced proficiency in Excel, including using Visual Basic for Applications (VBA);
- experience in using statistics platforms such as SPSS, Stata or equivalent an advantage;
- comfortable with the use and creation of macros.
