Start your job searchA leading Commercial business based in Wakefield is looking to appoint a new Divisional Accountant due to recent expansion and contract wins. The business has a very impressive track record in it's respective market, having quadrupled in size in the last few years alone these are exciting times to be joining the business.
The role of Divisional accountant will directly report to the Group FD and will be responsible for all financial/accounting duties for one of the ir largest divisions. The role will liaise with the divisional leadership team on all accounting and financial matters, taking the full lead/ownership in the full production, preparation and present a full set of divisional management accounts, balance sheet review/reporting, detailed budgeting, forecasting and all other reporting requirements as required. Due to the nature of the business you will also be involved in the accounting of projects and producing the relevant analysis, reporting, allocations for those projects.
This role would suit a dynamic individual with the personality to challenge non-finance managers and have operated at a similar level below, with aspirations to want to take on more as the business grows. A strong qualified CIMA/ACCA accountant would be the ideal fit, anyone with the right experience who is Qualified By Experience(QBE) would be considered.
