Excititing Global technology company experiencing massive growth organically and via major aquisitions offer a one off role working within a newly aligned payroll department, supporting an exceptional Financial Controller and a team of senior payroll supervisors. This role will primarmily provide payroll reconciliation support to the Financial Controller and MI Supervisor to deliver accurate fully reconciled financial information to the management team.

  • Working with EMEA Payroll Administrators and Outsourced Service Providers to build and upload the monthly payroll journals.
  • Complete the review of all payroll balance sheet control accounts on a monthly basis.
  • Review the payroll P&L accounts for any unusual transactions and investigate
  • Support the Payroll Reconciliation and MI Supervisor develop the Payroll MI for the EMEA.
  • Involvement in any system and payroll implementations, to ensure efficient processes are implemented from day

Detailed Responsibility to:

  • Manage payroll journal posting and payroll balance sheet control reconciliation for up to 15 small legal entities on a monthly basis.
  • Review reconciliations with EMEA Payroll Reconciliation and MI Supervisor and agree action plans to resolve issues and improve the monthly process.
  • Implement a daily cashflow report for each of the legal entities to be shared with Treasury.
  • Work with EMEA Payroll Reconciliation and MI Supervisor and EMEA Payroll Administrators to automate the journal process where possible and automate/reduce the number of manual payments occurring each month
  • Work with EMEA Payroll Reconciliation and MI Supervisor and EMEA Payroll Administrators to develop a suite of MI reports that can be shared with legal entity financial controllers, department heads and business leaver to improve the overall information, budgeting and forecasting process.
  • Support any payroll implementation or financial systems implementation in the area of EMEA Payroll journals and reconciliations including the roll out of standard chart of accounts.
  • Support the year end audit process and other ad hoc audit activity and reporting as required, including SOX auditing
