Senior Manager - Enterprise Risk Management - Capital Markets Banking client based in London.

Job Description

The Senior Manager - Enterprise Risk Management in London - will have the following remit

Risk Governance:

  • Maintain and update the Risk Appetite Framework and Risk Management Framework
  • Enhance the Risk Identification and Assessment process
  • Review local compliance with Risk policies and governance documents
  • Maintain the relevant Risk policies and governance documents whilst working with the global Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) team on alignment of the same with the Group
  • Keep updated on the new global Risk policies and governance documents that apply to London and ensure local compliance
  • Assist the Director and Chief Risk Officer (CRO) in developing the Recovery Plan
  • Represent Risk in the relevant governance committees
    • Work with the broader London Risk team to ensure that all relevant risks, both financial and non-financial, are highlighted and reported to the monthly senior management committees
    • Assist the CRO in creation of the quarterly risk update for the board

    Third Party Risk Management (TPRM)

    • Provide 2nd line of defense oversight and challenge on the bank's Third Party Risk Management process
    • Maintain and update the relevant local TPRM governance documents
    • Participating in TPRM working group
    • Risk Assessment

    The Successful Applicant

    The Senior Manager - Enterprise Risk Management will have following skills

    • University Degree/MBA/CA and solid experience in a capital markets environment;
    • Understanding of a Markets environment, demands of stakeholders in this environment and related products, securities and derivatives.
    • Should have a breadth of experience in risk management, audit, capital markets or related areas.
      • Possess excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills to deal with senior levels of management.
      • Possess strong communication (verbal and written), listening, presentation and facilitation skills.
      • Demonstrate significant maturity, credibility and sound judgement in dealing with senior management across risk management, business lines, and support groups;
      • Ability to work independently
