Marks Sattin are currently working closely with a market leading Business Information Company, who are currently seeking a Finance Administrator to join as part of their finance team, who are responsible for the businesses' planning, forecasting and analysis of financial results.

The successful candidate will be working closely with the sales team, undertaking a variety of duties that include:

- Ensuring that sales contracts and supporting information is entered in to CRM by the respective sales teams in order to meet requirements prior to being entered in accounting systems

- Provide direction and guidance to the organisation's shared services centre staff

- Conduct audits of revenue contracts

- Provide an overall view of items such as VAT, company taxation and relevant legislation in relation to the preparation of contracts

- Become involved with contract preparation

- Provide support to the company accountants in the production of accurate sales reports

It is essential that applicants for this post must have experience (2-3 years) working within a financial and administrative environment in order to be considered for the post. Candidates must also be able to demonstrate the ability to review contractual information and have a grounding knowledge of financial / accounting processes (including VAT / taxation). It is desirable to have Salesforce and Oracle experience.
