An international Energy company is seeking a commercially minded individual to join their finance team to manage the day to day budgetary aspects of ongoing business projects. This role is a Finance Analyst position and due to be 3 months in duration with a strong potential for extension and based in Middlesex.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensuring that projects adhere to the financial management processes and systems
• Supporting the integrity of project forecasting and reconciling actual costs
• Manage the reassignment of costs, to new cost structure and define the method for recovery
• Provide accurate and timely financial reports to the Project Control Manager as required
• Identifying ways to develop standardized processes for financial and performance reporting
• Undertake ad-hoc analysis requests

Candidate Requirements:

• Qualified ACA/ACCA/ACMA accountant or qualified by experience
• Previously worked for a large established organisation
• Must have superb accuracy and attention to detail
• Calm manner- able to work under pressure and the ability to prioritise work effectively
• Ability to build collaborative relationships and work as part of a team
