An international Energy firm is seeking a Finance Business Partner to join their Surrey based offices. The purpose of the role is to manage the planning and performance of an ongoing project and ensuring that financial implications are integrated into strategic plans. The position is expected to be 6 months in duration with the potential to be extended for the right candidate.

Responsibilities will include:

• Reviewing budgets versus forecasted expectations and preparing variance analysis alongside detailed commentary

• Managing project viability and maintaining accountability for financial management of the ongoing assignment

• Assessing and challenging business case assumptions and entailing that the implications on cost base are factored into future forecasted plans

• Liaising with non-financial operations, providing insightful financial analysis for effective decision making

• Implementing process improvements across reporting procedures
