My client are a global financial services institution with an exemplary reputation for excellence. An opportunity has arisen for a new qualified analyst or finalist to join this award winning business partnering team for an important division of the company. The role will have responsibility for

• Producing monthly and quarterly reporting for expenses and revenue against plan targets
• Filling the role of Budget Controller for the division
• Driving the preparation of the annual expense budgets for the business, ensuring appropriate management and control of expenditure
• Oversight of monthly and quarterly accounts
• Analysing expenditure and providing reporting to inform key business decisions
• Assisting with the appraisal of new products and business opportunities
• Providing financial support to the business and participating in projects as required
• Working with the wider commercial team to align and improve processes and reporting, ensuring improved efficiency and effectiveness

The ideal candidate will be recently qualified or approaching their final exams. You will have strong excel and communications skills and a well-developed analytical skillset. You will be a self-motivated person with proven ability to business partner, influence and debate. Experience with planning and budgeting would be useful, alongside experience of providing financial support to the business.
