Marks Sattin are currently working with a York based Financial Services organisation to recruit a Financial Change Project Manager.

You will be part of a small team sat within a larger one, working with a wide range of stakeholders, including offshore, reporting teasm & external suppliers. This team aims to be a centre of excellence, created by developing an understanding of the reporting processes to minimise production time & errors, increase frequency and enhance business insight into the results.

The main purpose for this role is to be responsible for managing and delivering allocated change projects under the direction of the Programme Manager.

Duties & Responsibilities;

• Acting as the main contact for allocated change projects and providing regular updates & escalations to the Programme Manager.
• Working with the wider team and relevant stakeholders to understand & document how the project will impact downstream processes.
• Managing, testing & delivering the impacts of the allocated change through the project and into BAU.
• Managing the relationships with external data providers and internal stakeholders.
• Dwsigning and implementing new finance processes / solutions.
• Providing expert support and advice to the BAU teams,.

Skills & Experience;

• Ideally a qualified accountant, but not critical.
• Proven track record of delivering complex change.
• Excellent stakeholder communication skills.
• Strong influencing & negotiating skills.
• Ability to identify and implement process efficiencies and improvements.
• Delivery of cross site / team people & process change.
• Excellent analytical skills and pro-active drive to get behind change.
• Ideally relevant experience of working in a finance environment.
